Age Divisions

Students are divided by ability level. If a student advances past their current level class, they will be invited to a higher level class. 

Preschool 2 – 5 years old 

Beginner: 5 years old and up based on ability

Intermediate: 7 years old and up based on ability

Advanced: 9 years old and up based on ability

Classes

Some classes are combined classes with two styles in one block of time. There will be an equal amount of time dedicated to both styles. 

Tap

A fast-paced, technique driven class that teaches dancers of all ages and ability levels a combination of the Broadway style and Rhythmic style of tap dancing. Content of the classes will vary based on age and ability.

Ballet

A foundational, technique driven class that teaches dancers of all ages and ability levels the traditional French Method of the ballet art form. Content of the classes will vary based on age and ability.

Jazz Fusion

A performance driven class that teaches dancers of all ages and ability levels a combination of classical Jazz technique, Hip-Hop technique, and Poms dance. Dancers will learn to use pom-poms along with leaps, jumps, turns, and more. Content of the classes will vary based on age and ability.

Musical Theatre

A performance driven class that teaches dancers of all ages and ability levels the Broadway style of acting, singing, and musical theatre style dance which is heavily rooted in Jazz. Dancers will spend equal time learning acting, vocal training, and dancing all in the same class. Content of the classes will vary based on age and ability.

Lyrical

An expressive and performance driven class that teaches dancers of all ages and ability levels the lyrical style of movement, which is heavily based on classical ballet technique. Dancers will learn how to express themselves and their emotions through dance at all ages and ability levels.

Contemporary

A performance based class that teaches mature dancers aged 12 and older at various ability levels how to express themselves in the contemporary style of dance, which is heavily influenced by jazz and ballet technique. Dancers will use inspiration from their own lives to tell a story through the art of contemporary dance.

Acro

Acro

An abbreviated name for the well loved style of Acrobatic Arts, this class teaches dancers of all ages and ability levels acrobatic skills such as tumbling, contortion, and gymnastics with the safety of professional equipment. Content of the classes will vary based on age and ability.

Modern

Ballet

A technique based class that teaches mature dancers aged 12 and older at various ability levels how to perform in the highly expressive style of modern dance that challenges the structured dance technique of classical ballet. Dancers will be encouraged to create new ways of moving and explore their choreographic creativity.
